It all started in February 2013 when Ian slid into Kelly's Twitter DMs. He was in his sophomore year of college at Winona State and thought she went to St. Cloud State. Kelly quickly set the record straight informing Ian that she was a senior (yes, in high school) and was going to the U of M the next year. Undeterred, Ian hit her with his pick up line "well, you've always sparked my interest. If you feel likewise..." and left his phone number. Kelly took the bait and texted him, and the conversation never stopped. A few months later Ian was suckered into coming back to Shakopee High School to be Kelly's prom date.

2013-2024

A Love 12 Years in the Making!

We survived 4 years of long distance throughout college giving us the best of both worlds. We were able to grow as individuals while making the effort to maintain our relationship. We have amazing memories at Winona and the U of M, we wouldn't trade those years for the world. We were lucky enough to attend each others' graduation ceremonies in May 2017 and step into our next chapter together. In the years since, we've traveled together, endured a pandemic together, navigated career changes, tackled homeownership &amp; grad school, enjoyed MN sporting events, and shared countless peaks and valleys of life. Along the way, we've been fortunate to celebrate weddings for SO MANY amazing friends &amp; family, and we cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
