Kelly (K): It all started in the fall of 2017!
Thomas (T): Yeah, that sounds about right, but I knew who you were way before that, IYKYK!!
K: We were in several of the same sports classes at DSU and there wasn’t much interest that fall.
T: Shout out to Britnee, Teaching of Individual Sports class, and beating Kelly in Pickle Ball 😉

K: ANYWAYS… the spring comes and goes and now it’s the end of the school year. Thomas’ friends are graduating and my friends and I are celebrating the end of our softball season. We ended up eating at the same restaurant, No Way José.
T: I walked to the softball table to talk to my buddy Colben and noticed Kelly was STARING. I did a double take and said, “Uh, hey Kelly”.
K: I wasn’t staring, I was observing my surroundings 😏 So fast forward to that night, we all end up at the one and only OTR! Thomas was sitting to the side on a speaker when I walked by and sarcastically said, “Hey Peaches” (which I’m no longer allowed to call him by the way)
T: I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me and after a few short words, I asked for her Snapchat… LOL
K: Then after a few free drinks and a dance or 2 later, I made him promise me he wouldn’t move back to Georgia after graduation.
T: The drinks may have been talking, but I promised I wouldn’t leave.
K: At that moment, I knew I had him and the rest is history!
