Zach & Kelly met each other online during April of 2022. They went on their first date on April 26, 2022 and went to Primanti Bros. in Uniontown, PA where they got to know each other and had much conversation about whether or not the Steelers would choose Kenny Pickett in the upcoming NFL Draft. They continued to go on a few more dates over the following months, and ultimately realized that they were better together than apart. They met each others' friends and family in February 2023 and everything blossomed from there. Zach decided to move down to Uniontown in June of 2023, where they both still reside. They love spending time on the trail behind their house, going to the driving range, and always take every opportunity possible to go cheer on the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Zach chose September 28, 2024 to be the day to ask Kelly to be his wife. He proposed at Kelly's parents' house with their families all present. Both Zach & Kelly agreed to make Saturday, November 29, 2025 their wedding date because they couldn't think of a more appropriate time to celebrate their love with those that they are the most thankful for, than during Thanksgiving weekend. They cannot wait to celebrate this joyous occasion with everyone!
