A typical tale as old as time, Kelly and Wade met the way you'd expect ,through some casual stalking at a tech company. Kelly, living in Seattle, packed up her and Silverado's things and moved out to New York before transitioning to a new team at work. Her new manager encouraged her to try and connect with her former candidate; that also worked within the same org and had relocated to New York, recently, with his own fur child, Honey. Kelly...respectfully said no.

Fast forward to 2020, the world stood still with the global pandemic and Kelly decided to head south to Nashville with Silverado in tow and a future El Camino waiting for their arrival. Her manager then brought up this mysterious candidate again, since he too, was planning a move to Nashville. Kelly finally caved in, stalked him on Phonetool, LinkedIn, and found his blog and decided to take the first step. She wrote the most professional email she could (with some flirtatious undertones) and pressed send. To which, her manager said "I can't believe you sent that"! 3 days went by (clearly Wade had never heard of the 2&5 promise) and he finally replied and wanted to meet!

Months past before Wade could pack up shop in Brooklyn and make the big move. January 2021 rolled around and Wade and Honey finally settled in. Kelly and Wade set a time to meet at their familiar and favorite coffee joint, Starbucks. Panic struck when a week before the two were going to meet in person when they had a meeting for a new requisition that Kelly would be supporting (she is a professional stalker don't forget). The hiring manager listed on the meeting announced that Wade would actually be the hiring manager moving forward! Oh no! Kelly stressed and struggled that she has now completely embarrassed herself and misread the potential for their friendly meeting!

The day finally arrived for the two to venture in the cold, brisk, Nashville air to SB. Kelly opted to play it cool and avoid eye contact and Wade refused to let that phase him. Since that day they were inseparable; minus when Wade came down with Covid, was hospitalized for week, on oxygen for a month and left his keys for Kelly to tend to Ms. Honey. After all that, these two moved 4 times in 3 years, traveled to 4 countries together and numerous states, and blended their furry family perfectly. It's all come full circle with this family of 5 settling back in Seattle (where it all should have began the first time).
