Our Wedding

As many of you know, Vince and I went to school together throughout grades 1 to 12. We didn’t run in the same social circles, and we were a grade apart, but we both have distinct memories of each other during our school days together. Towards the end of high school, there was a brief period of time where we had actually texted back and forth a bit, just small talk, but it didn’t become anything else. It was not our time and we both moved on in our lives. Funny how life works out.. Fast forward to 2020, and we were battling through post-secondary school and Covid. The pandemic made it a bit more difficult to meet people the old fashioned way, so we both ended up on Hinge - a more modern dating app. When I saw Vince’s profile, I thought “what are the odds?” and messaged him. Yes, I made the first move believe it or not! Dating through Covid was not for the faint of heart, and we had some ups and downs, but clearly we made it though or we wouldn’t be here now. I’d like to give a special thank you to my mom, and Vince’s middle school teacher, Kris, for confirming that Vince was a good student in school so it wouldn’t be awkward when I had to bring him home. As well, a thank you to Vince’s dad, Cornel, for bringing Vince 3 little lambs and kick-starting my dream of owning a farm full of animals. We love each and every one of you!
