Q + A

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia. You can find more information about the hotel and how to book under the "Travel" tab.

What's the dress code?

Black tie preferred! This means that you should wear the nicest clothing you have easy access to. If you don't already have a tuxedo or a floor-length gown, a nice cocktail dress or suit is perfectly acceptable.

Can I bring a guest?

We are unable to accommodate any additional guests that are not specifically listed on your envelope. For example, your envelope would list "(your name) & Guest". For families, it will list "The (your last name) Family". When you go to RSVP you will be able to see the exact number of people you can RSVP for.

Are kids allowed?

Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate everyone's children at our wedding. We hope you are able to see this as an opportunity to take the evening off and enjoy the party with us!

Is there transportation to the venue?

There will be transportation to and from the venue. The bus will pick up and drop off at the Marriott Downtown Philadelphia. The venue is approximately a 10 minute walk from the hotel as well.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

The doors will open at 5 pm and the ceremony will begin at 5:30 pm. If you happen to be late, the staff will let you know if they are still allowing guests in or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. Thank you for understanding!

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there is parking at the venue. There is a parking lot directly across from the venue that will have complimentary parking for guests for the evening.

How do I RSVP? When should I RSVP by?

To RSVP, click the RSVP tab and type the name(s) listed on your envelope. Please RSVP before Sunday, July 28th. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at the soonest opportunity. Any RSVPs received after this date will be marked as a 'no' as we will be sending final headcounts to vendors shortly after this deadline.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!
