This is a fun place to enjoy with friends. There are over 36 different holes to test your mini golf skills at. They also have a full bar and food. I would recommend the cookie ice cream skillet and their loaded fries are also great.
This is a good cheesesteak spot south of Philly. They go heavy on the pepper. You will not find them serving the cheesesteaks with wiz or coopersharp so do not ask or you may receive some attitude from the staff. Overall this is a good spot for a cheesesteak with quality bread and meat.
There is some speculation as to which cheesesteak spot is the best in the city. After trying all of the top spots Max has deemed Angelos the #1 cheesesteak spot in Philly. The recommended order is a cheesesteak with their signature cooper sharp cheese and fried onions. The pizza here is also amazing and is one of the top pizza options in the city. This is a popular spot, so it is possible there could be a wait (but it's worth it). Additionally, this spot is cash only.
Cool spot by the water, there are Flamingo boats where you can paddle around in the water. Quality food and drink spots that you can enjoy as you look out on to the Delaware River.
This is a more modern museum for those who get bored with the traditional ones. It has interactive art exhibits.
This is a cool restaurant with seasonal themes. It has amazing milkshakes and good food/apps.
A surprise around every corner - discover the cultural heart of Philadelphia. The museum’s landmark building houses one of the most remarkable collections in the country, featuring some of the greatest works of American, Asia, and European art anywhere. You’ll find van Gogh's Sunflowers, the world’s largest Marcel Duchamp and the only dedicated Rodin Museum outside France. Eat. Drink. Shop. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or the fiftieth, you’ll always see something new. Catch a world-class exhibition or get to know the masterpieces that live year-round in the museum’s 200+ galleries, including many stunning architectural spaces and period rooms. Then, browse an impressive collection of art books and more at the Museum Store and grab a bite made by Constellation Culinary at one of the cafés or Stir, the only Frank Gehry–designed restaurant on the East Coast.
This is another top cheesesteak spot. It is slightly outside the city but if you are looking for a packed cheesesteak this is a good spot to go.
One of the best laid-out zoos in the country, the Philadelphia Zoo is set among a charming 42-acre Victorian garden with tree-lined walks, formal shrubbery and animal sculptures.
America’s first zoo and a foremost conservation organization, the attraction is home to nearly 1,300 animals, many rare and endangered.
The zoo has a first-in-the-world animal travel and exploration train system, Zoo360, enabling primates and big cats to move above and across the main visitor pathway.
Additional exhibits include Big Cat Falls, the McNeil Avian Center, the PECO Primate Reserve and KidZooU, an interactive wildlife academy of dynamic displays, rare breeds and indoor-outdoor learning.
In addition to its animals, the zoo is known for its historic architecture, which includes the country home of William Penn’s grandson, its botanical collections of over 500 plant species, its groundbreaking research and its fine veterinary facilities.
