It was my freshman year of college at George Mason University and my friends convinced me to go a fraternity "Wine Wednesday" party. Caleb was also convinced to attend that night. During the party, Caleb spotted me on the dance floor and immediately wrapped his arm around my middle. Once I was entwined in his embrace, I met his eyes and instantly felt a connection. We have been inseparable ever since.

We started officially dating 2 weeks after our fateful meeting. We lived together throughout my sophomore year of college on George Mason's campus and come junior year we had moved into a townhome with our best friends, Licie Leite-Harron and Alex Harron. During my senior year, we moved into Caleb's mom's, Laura, house to finish out my college career. We adopted our precious dog, Bonnie during this time. Then the year I was to graduate, 2020, the world shut down due to the pandemic so Caleb and I decided to move to California (where I am from) earlier than originally planned. So Caleb, Bonnie and I packed up as much as possible into Caleb's Honda CRV and drove 2,660 miles from Virginia to California. Caleb, Bonnie and I lived in California for 2 years (Huntington Beach & Fullerton) before deciding to move to Colorado Springs, Colorado where we have bought our first home! The journey has been wonderful and we are so excited for our next chapter.

Caleb and our best friends, Licie and Alex had been planning the proposal since February 2023 when they came to Colorado for a ski trip. Come September 2023, Caleb, Licie and Alex planned a successful sunset proposal on the Harron's dock at their lake house in Lake Norman, North Carolina. It was a beautiful and romantic moment that we will cherish forever.
