Kelly and Kori first met in July, 2017, at RollerCon, the roller derby convention held at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas. What started as a fun night celebrating the end of the convention turned into something much more when they realized they lived just a mile apart back home in San Diego.They stayed in touch after the convention, and not long after, Kori invited Kelly to a Postmodern Jukebox concert. The only condition? Kori had to dress up. True to his word, when Kelly arrived at his house and saw him waiting in a sharp three-piece suit, she knew there was something special about him worth investing in.That moment marked the beginning of their story together—a journey filled with laughter, music, roller derby, and love.
