We met in May of 2020 through our mutual friend, Jon, who was having a pool party for his birthday. Curtis and I had seen each other in passing before but that day we started talking about our love of anime and hit it off. Curtis asked me to hang out the next day and the rest is history. He moved into my apartment shortly after getting together, where he had to win Donna's affection. Let's just say he was not a fan at first and Donna knew it but continued to torment him even more.

We went on our first road trip about six months into dating all the way down to Key West! We did many exciting new things and came to the conclusion that we would never drive through Florida ever again. After that we knew we could survive any trip together which led to a kayaking trip with friends up by Lake Superior and eventually we left the country together to explore Guatemala! We saw volcanic eruptions, climbed up and down a giant volcano and Curtis even learned some Spanish. Can't wait for our next travel adventure.

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! In March of 2023, we officially closed on our home in Menomonee Falls and it couldn't be more perfect. It has been so fun making changes to match our style, decorate for Christmas for the first time and watch as Donna gets the zoomies up and down the stairs. We even got to experience crazy snowfall and having to figure out the classic Wisconsin challenge of snow removal. Through this home buying process and figuring out true adult life we have really become a great team and continue to support each other in every aspect of life.

Because we have lived together for 4 years, and have had the house together for over a year we are asking for cash funds to help us go on our honeymoon rather than physical gifts. We appreciate any assistance for our trip to Vietnam!
