Kelly and Madeline are a rare online dating success story! They first connected on Hinge in the summer of 2020 and their first date in August was pandemic friendly - snacks and seltzers in Prospect Park. They stayed so late talking that it got completely dark and they were soon joined by thousands of bugs. Madeline got eaten alive so badly that she had to go to urgent care the next day for bites that swelled to the size of golf balls. Meanwhile, Kelly fell asleep as soon as she got home and before she could text Madeline about how good a time she had despite the bugs. Madeline would soon come to learn that this was not a sign of disinterest on Kelly's part; rather, that Kelly is just often sleepy and loves a good nap and early bedtime.

Kelly and Madeline continued to date and soon moved in together. Cleo the cat was thrilled to have another live-in parent to harass for food at all hours. In January 2024, Madeline proposed to Kelly at dinner inside of an outdoor igloo on the water before going to a New York Philharmonic performance. The ice storm that night almost ruined these plans and Kelly was confused about the cold dining situation until she realized the importance of that evening. Kelly had a nice proposal planned for a few weeks later, but Madeline could not wait for her beautiful ring. Instead, Kelly proposed while at home with the intro song to the new season of Vanderpump Rules playing in the background (Team Ariana forever). Both proposals were perfect for the couple that Kelly and Madeline are.

Over the years, Kelly and Madeline's love for each other has grown deeper and they have shared and created new hobbies and passions. They have gone on international adventures together, from the beaches of the Caribbean to the green hills of Ireland and the cobblestones of Portugal. They've fostered a number of cats and kittens, stepped into the boxing ring, and binge watched an impressive amount of Bravo TV together.
