We met back in 2016, I (Kelly) was (still am) a breakfast waitress and Marco would come in almost every weekend for breakfast. Didn’t have a clue that we would end up together!😊

I (Kelly) was told to give Marco a shot in April of 2021…and it took until June to finally get some conversation going and then end of July for us to go on our first date. Bowling and then Backyard Bar and Grill…of course😉 it wasn’t until November 6th that I was finally asked to be Marco’s “ole lady.”

As most of you know, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma in August of 2022, and when you go through hardships early on in a relationship, you really learn if it’s going to last or not. It shows off each others true colors. Marco is a sweetheart for putting up with me❤️

Ate takeout in the hospital room, and was grateful to have a sweetheart that came to visit me.

Marco asked everyday of my program how homework was going and what I was working on, truly cares what I’m up to🥰

As most of you know, my dad passed away in March of 2024. This is the only picture of the four of us, Marco was always amazing with my dad, and before my dad passed Marco was able to ask him to marry me, and it truly made everything easier knowing that dad knew that I was going to marry an amazing man that’s going to take care of me.

Our engagement! We were up at the cabin and were waiting to see the Northern Lights…and surprise we didn’t…he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and of course I said yes! ❤️
