Mike and Kelly met at a friend's wedding November 3rd, 2018! Mike was assisting as a photographer to his friend who knew the Bride! Kelly was a bridesmaid in the wedding. Mike and Kelly were naturally drawn to each other, but neither were in pursuit of a new relationship at the time. Eventually Mike requested Kelly to be his Facebook friend! With a few comments here and there about needing to visit Kelly at her TGI Fridays bar top, nothing quite got off the ground. Later, they would reconnect in a unique way! Mike was invited to girl's night as a surprise(literally) to Kelly early February 2019! Kelly did not wash her hair and was so nervous lol after a couple drinks with the gals and a round of green tea shots for the table, Mike and Kelly ended up chatting the night away and even stayed in the parking lot talking into the early morning! So early Mike pretty much went from Millers Ale House straight to work! Hehe
From there, they talked every day since.

Kelly and Mike bought their first house together and closed September 16,2020!

On April 14, 2021, Mike proposed to Kelly at one of their local spots McBride's North during one of their fun Wednesday routines, Bar Bingo!
Kelly had a couple good friends there with them on that evening and the staff at McBride's helped streamline everything! Kelly had NO idea! Mike ended up at the microphone suddenly and started telling Kelly how much he loved their time together and how much he loved her. Kelly was bright red from all the attention and in shock, but was really happy to hear everything being said but somehow still didn't know what was happening 🤣 After a few sweet sentiments, Mike put the microphone down and walked over to the table and got down on one knee, and there it was, the big question! "Kelly, will you marry me?"
Kelly exclaims, "Yes, of course!"
And so began their next chapter on their journey.
