Commercial real estate has always been the meet-cute in our story. We met in the Spring of 2019 - AJ was trying to connect with real estate owners and developers. Kelly worked for an owner of a large real estate portfolio. To paint the picture: On one of our earliest dates, the bar tab was charged as a "prospecting" business expense. Our mutual love of work and our shared values brought us together and have been the foundation of our entire relationship.

Our "first date" was in Ligonier, PA - halfway between Hollidaysburg and Pittsburgh. We met at the Wicked Googly. After bowling and nachos, we went across the street to check out the taxidermy collection at Joe's (the most exclusive club in Ligonier). A few weeks later, we met in Altoona, PA and AJ experienced the Horseshoe Curve (for all its glory) and Leap the Dips at Lakemont Park. From that point forward, we would meet up every few weeks for dates in Pittsburgh, Hollidaysburg, and in Champion, PA.

After six months of dating long-distance, real estate brought us together again. March 2020, Kelly accepted a job in corporate real estate and moved to downtown Pittsburgh. The COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown was certainly not on our bingo card. Lucky for us, we both liked to cook and the Schenley Park golf course was open (and free after 7pm!) In the midst of chaos, we learned to rely on each other as the lighthouse for all of life's storms.

Five years later, instead of hunting for rogue golf balls, we are hunting for birds with Bonnie (our German wirehaired pointer.) No two weekends are the same! We stay busy and continue to travel as much as we can to visit family and friends. We are excited to get married and are truly looking forward to celebrating with all of our friends, family, and friends that are our family!
