Kelly and Adam met in November 2020 at their former gym, CrossFit Garden City. After about a month of small talk after classes, looking forward to seeing each other each day at the gym and a 10k run to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of CFGC, the two decided it was time to hang out outside of the gym. Kelly and Adam bonded over their passionate for working out and soon realized they had a lot more in common.


The couple started dating during the height of COVID, which meant lots of outdoor dates with Kelly’s dog, Baker, at trails and dog parks. Baker took a liking to Adam immediately, which is super important to Kelly since she takes a lot of pride in being an amazing dog mom. The two loved including Baker in their adventures and enjoyed being active together.


Fast forward a few months to when the couple took their first vacation together to Yosemite National Park. Most wouldn’t call this a “vacation” since it involved lots of intense hiking, but Adam and Kelly are always up for a physical challenge, makes sense why they met at a gym!


Shortly after this trip Adam and Kelly, mostly Kelly, decided Adam needed a dog and Baker needed a sister! Welcome Baylee, a perfect combination of pretty and crazy, emphasis on the crazy. The two pups hit it off right away, and now the couple really focused a lot of time and attention on their fur babies, always putting them first and spoiling the heck out of them!


The couple had a very regular daily routine - workout, coach CrossFit classes, go on a dog adventure and work from home. Because Adam and Kelly are both fortunate enough to work from home, this allowed them to take a big leap and make a big move. They packed everything up in October 2023 and moved from their one bedroom apartment in Melville, NY to a rental house in Wekiva Springs, FL and a few months later into their very own home in Apopka, FL with a huge yard and pool - exactly what the pups requested! Adam and Kelly love watching the dogs live their best lives sun bathing in the yard, chasing lizards and getting to join the couple on weekend getaways to the beach.


Adam and Kelly have really enjoyed turning their house into a home, have become regulars at their new CrossFit gym, Armor CrossFit, and love spending their weekends at Universal Studios or Disney.


They are both SO excited to have all of their family and friends join them in the sunshine state for a perfect wedding on the beach. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support as we celebrate our next chapter together!
