Things to Do
First and foremost, we are beach people! Take advantage of the sandy coast line, bring your beach chair and have yourself a day. There is lots of hiking and biking to be found just inland. After all, this is Maine. There is also lots of lobster to be enjoyed, so here are some of our favorite spots for food and drinks!
Huot's Seafood Restaurant
Can order food at the counter and walk around back to the awesome patio, outdoor bar, lawn games and often live music.
Royal Anchor Beach Resort
Not just a motel! Their tiki bar is on the beach with live music and is a great spot for a sunset cocktail with toes in the sand. You do not need to be a guest to visit the bar.
The Brunswick
Largest patio with live music on the beach. We go for the rum buckets!
Sunset Bar & Grill
Right next to the brunswick and has a patio out front with good food and drink! Kelly loves the cajun haddock tacos and Adam enjoys a mudslide.
Joseph's By the Sea
A great dinner spot! Has a lovely intimate indoor dining space as well as a roof top deck with a beautiful view. Adam suprised Kelly for her 30th birthday here, so it is always a special place for us.
Traditions Italian Restaurant
Venture in town to one of the Groomsmens establishments for a cozy italian meal. The bartenders know when they see us that we will most certainly order one of three things: Prosciutto Romano, Pollo Limone, or Marsalini. But honestly you can't go wrong with anything here!
