We met at a friend's Christmas party in Ann Arbor and started dating in 2017. Jeff took Kelly to Palm Palace for our first date and was infatuated with her cute and silly personality. Kelly fell in love with Jeff's easy going and fun personality, and, of course, his love of cats.

About a year later, Jeff moved to Oregon to start a new job. Kelly finished the dance season at two Ann Arbor studios and moved to Oregon in the summer of 2019, bringing two beloved cats with her. With some patience and determination from the humans, Archie and Sebastian coexisted with Jeff's cat, Cocoa, for a few years. Our sweet Cocoa kitty, who gave his sage wisdom for the health of our early years as a couple, passed away in February 2023. He had a great, long, life, and we will treasure the moments we had with him.

Now, Archie and Sebastian are adapting to life with their new baby sister, Trixie, who found her way into our cat-loving home after being found in the woods by one of Kelly’s coworkers.

The three kitties are absolutely spoiled, and they are loving our new townhouse that we purchased in September 2024. We are all settling into the house and looking forward to making memories in our first home. The stairs have already been a big hit!

We are excited for what the next few years hold in store for us and the many years yet to come. We are enjoying life in Oregon, packing picnics to take to the coast and on mountain hikes, and we love spending rainy days at home with the cats. We are looking forward to our wedding celebrations and our first trip to Hawaii for our Honeymoon.
