Brianne and I met in 10th grade right after I moved to Charlotte. We played on the volleyball team together and it was like love at first sight. We instantly connected and have been best friends ever since. We've taken numerous trips together...NYC, Bahamas, Chicago, and Norris Lake to name a few. Brianne is one of the most loyal friends I have ever known and she will drop anything if I need her! When I am sick, she drops off little goodie baskets and she comes to my classroom to spend lunch with kids so I can have a break. Brianne is now an amazing wife and mommy to our 2 ring bearers (Andrew & Luke). Brianne, you are a one of a kind friend and I am so thankful you're in my life!

Father of the groom. Former UNC quarterback. Dog whisperer. Never met a stranger. A modern day philosopher. Most famous quote: "Life is like a three-legged stool".He loves to tell a good "dad joke" and he let me watch Top Gun when I was waaaaay too young. His encouragement is the reason I achieved my Eagle Scout Badge. He kept my attention off the distractions from the "fumes"...perfumes and gas fumes that is.

"Soule". Don't let the baby face fool you, we're the same age. Bartenders will ask him for his ID well into his 50's. He's avid Duke (dook) basketball and Resdkins football fan. We met in college at UNCW while in the Cameron School of Business. I was a groomsman in his wedding in 2012, which was the event that sparked the relationship between Kelly and I. His love for music and movies was a common ground that started a life long friendship between us.

Kaylie and I met in college through our good friend, Susan Webb. I think it was her always meticulously polished nails and her stylish outfits that first caught my attention. Kaylie was and still is that friend you have who is always put together no matter what the circumstance. She is also extremely honest in the most loving way. I remember when my dog, Raleigh, was dying, I had a sink full of dishes and a super messy house. Kaylie was like, "Um Kelly, we have to do something about this mess you are living in. I'm going to take care of this for you." We laughed and she got to work. This is the kind of friend Kaylie is and I am super thankful to have her in my life and by my side on my wedding day.

Nobody knows more about 90's movie trivia than this kid. He makes Marty McFly proud on the regular. He splits his time between his family and providing timeless entertainment through GIFs and movie quotes.A true lover of life, a great father and friend, and one of the nicest guys I've ever had the honor to share the soccer field with. We met in 1998 as teammates on the JV soccer team at Laney High School (Buc Town) in 1998, and have been friends ever since. As he's a diehard wolfpack fan, we rarely see eye-to-eye on all things college sports, but that's never stopped us from cracking jokes about Coach K. Nothing but smiles from this guy.

Jen and I met in college but did not become besties until after college. Her nickname is LOML because she is the love of my life. Jen is the absolute most hilarious person you will ever meet! Her smile, bubbly personality, and passion for life are contagious. I get happy just being around her. LOML has been on 4 of the Carmola family vacations to the BAHAMAS and was very sad to hear the news that Shef would be taking her spot. Well all I can say to that is, he may be taking your vacation spot, but no one will EVER take the spot you have in my heart as one one my best friends. You are IRREPLACEABLE and I am forever grateful to call you my BEST FRIEND.

Wolfpack Fanatic. A brother from another mother. Former soccer teammate for the E.A. Laney Bucs! He splits his time between being Superdad to two twin boys and stud engineer for some of the largest projects in Raleigh. Get him outside on the golf course with the fellas, and it's nothing but jokes and laughs.We met on the JV high school soccer team in the 9th grade. Since then, it's been a steady stream of punk-rock shows, Jimmy Buffet concerts, snowboarding trips, tailgating before football games, boat rides, camping and surfing...

Shelley and I met at Brooktone Schools in 2009. She was the cutest little southern kindergarten teacher and I knew I had to have her in my life. Shelley is the most positive person I have ever met and her outlook on life is ALWAYS one I will strive to have. One of the many reasons I love Shelley is because she laughs at my jokes even when they aren't funny (I'm usually not nearly as funny as she thinks I am). :) Shelley and I like to send each other pictures of our chin hairs and tell each other things that would gross most people out. Another reason I love Shelley is because of her impeccable planning skills. She makes the most out of life and finds all the fun things in Charlotte to do. I usually have to call about about a year in advance to get on her calendar (kidding). She is now the mommy to 2 beautiful girls and has an awesome husband. Thank you Shelley for being such a bright light in my life! We have also been to see Julianne and Derek Hough LIVE together twice! (See photo below)

Lia and I met at a pool in 2009, the summer before we both started teaching. I overheard her having a conversation with an older man. He was a complete stranger and she was telling him about moving from Pittsburgh to be with her fiance and start her first year of teaching. SO... two things Lia and I already had in common; We both loved talking to absolute strangers and we were both first year teachers! Needless to say we started talking, exchanged numbers, and pretty much spent the ENTIRE summer together. Lia talked me into running my first and only half marathon. We were raising money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma society and at the time it seemed like a great idea. Fast forward a few months and she was literally DRAGGING me across the finish line because I was so slow. Now, that's a true friend! Lia is hilarious, super creative, and the epitome of LOYAL. I am blessed to know you, Lia.

Parr. This lovable, albeit somewhat contentious, self-proclaimed King of Life, has somehow become an adult and operates a flourishing dental practice in Surf City, NC. He is an absolute terror on the soccer field and was aptly utilized as an "enforcer" by Mike "Smitty" Smith. Again, another former soccer teammate that has a common love for the ocean, mountains, sports, live music and good times with bros. A true "guys" guy

Julie and I met through a mutual friend about 9 years ago. She will tell you it was the best day of her life meeting me (ha). When I think of Julie, I can't help but smile. Julie's love for life and her loud laugh are a few qualities that set her apart. She is loyal, HONEST, holds me accountable and loves selflessly. She is always an ear to listen and gives the best advice. We love taking trips together and having sleepovers. I can't wait to have Julie by my side for the big day!

"Whammy". To live, is to quote movies. This guy knows more one-liners than anyone else I know. From Blazing Saddles to Anchorman, he's got you covered. He enjoys a good book and long walks on the beach...ehh, who am I kidding; give him an IPA and some EPL soccer and he's set.Another broseph I met in high school, the bond runs deep with a love for live music events, comedies, and not taking life too seriously.

Mary and I went to high together but didn't become close until we were neighbors in 2008. She barely knew me and yet still offered to take care of my sick dog, Raleigh who was dying of cancer. She stayed with him every day while I was at work and fed him lots of yummy food. I can't express how grateful I am for Mary and all she has done for me. Mary is not only selfless but hilarious and always put together. She helps me dye my hair and teaches me little makeup tricks. Mary is now an awesome mommy to her little girl Coco.

DT. Easy ladies...he's taken! Constantly trying to catch this guy on the golf course. He's a Clemson Tiger through and through. And although his tigers have never won a basketball game against the Heels in the Dean Dome, he's perfectly fine celebrating his National Championship in football.Started a friendship with this stud while attending church in Charlotte, NC. His easy-going, laid-back personality and contagious smile made it seem like we'd been friends for years. Easily one of the most gracious people I've ever met.

Mel is not only the coolest person ever, she's my cousin and stuck with me for life. Mel and I have been best friends since we were little. Mel is the happiest person I know and I have never seen her in a bad mood. Mel played basketball at UCONN and wrote a book called, "Heart of a Husky." Mel is a combination of extremely driven and also extremely free-spirited. She is currently traveling the world. I will always strive to be more like my awesome cousin, Mel!

Beard. This guy is one of the funniest people I know. He always finds a way to make those around him laugh. His outgoing personality and infectious laugh can been seen and heard from across the room.He's a shark at the poker and pool tables. He backs up his trash talk on the golf course, and he's the first to forget his car keys and/or wallet in a pinch. If you've ever seen "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia" you know what I mean when I say he is the Charlie Day of bunch. He is a wildcard!We met at UNCW and lived together at Wrightsville Beach for a few months following senior year and graduation. He's an entrepreneur and a is constantly coming up with ideas to change the world. He's a dreamer folks, and the world needs dreamers.

The Brother-In-Law. I had the opportunity to stand with Adam as he married my younger sister Sarah. He's been a rock by her side through thick and thin. A former Marine, a lover of outdoor activities, an advocate for our Second Amendment rights, a modern day historian, a connoisseur of craft beers, Buckeye and Browns fan and a brother. From spending time on the golf course, to spending vacations on the beach, he is Mr. Dependable.

Lisa is the best sister-in-law anyone could have. She is the gorgeous mommy of my two nieces and flower girls. Lisa has the biggest heart and is always patient and loving with our crazy Carmola family. Lisa loves to workout and is super dedicated to fitness and eating healthy. She puts us all to shame on vacation because of her commitment to working out! Lisa is super creative and always puts thought into the gifts she gives! I am lucky to have a sister like you, Lisa!

The Future Brother-In-Law. This guy is so dedicated to his family. His love for his two daughters (my soon to be nieces) is surpassed by none other. He inherited his dad's dry, witty sense of humor (sometimes I still can't figure out if something is a joke). The guy throws absolute darts on the golf course and can give The Rock a run for his money when it comes to repping 225. He's also been known to get great deals on the newest Rolex.Always has the inside information on Panthers football.

Sarah is Shef's sister and such a sweet person. She is super calm and even-keeled. I could definitely take notes and learn from her! Sarah loves animals and is passionate about her job. I am so thankful she and her husband, Adam, moved back to Raleigh because I have had to the chance to get to know her better. I am excited to have another sister soon!
