On Black Friday 2018, Kelly was invited by Gina (bridesmaid) to come up to SF and hang out with her and some friends from college. When arriving at the bar it was just Gina and Robert. Before Kelly arrived, Gina told Robert "Now I know she's your type, but you cant."- Robert became very interested and he quickly found out Kelly was a total babe. Through small talk, they also found out they both have small white poodles (Cody and Charles). A great time was spent the whole night at the bar, sushi, and Robert's relentless flirting. (Chipping away).

Robert went golfing the next morning to get his FIRST hole in one! (165 Yards, down hill, down wind, big 9iron, absolutely stuck it). Kelly loves to throw that in there that its because he met her the night before ;)

Robert instantly starting DMing her poodle jokes & pictures, of course making her laugh constantly. (Still Chipping away)

After a few weeks of talking, Robert asked Kelly out on a park date so the "poodles could meet". From then Robert was traveling for 2 weeks, so he made sure to Facetime her throughout the trip so she didn't forget about him (Chip Chip).

He came home just before Kelly's birthday and surprised her with an amazing official first day to Circus Soleil! (Nailed it)

With Kelly's travels they would spend the next months always together on the weekends, Robert started inviting Kelly on trips with his friends. They instantly became very close and one cute poodle family! (Got her!)

One year of dating, Kelly moved in with Robert in his San Francisco apartment (Charles too!) with the plan of flying 3 days a week and home 4 days a week. One week later the world shut down with the pandemic, and they didn't leave each others side in a 1br Apartment. Through that time they realized that the more time they had with each other the better and their love grew even stronger.

With 3 years of so much love and memories from their travels- Robert proposed on the Lake in Almanor with all their family members on a pontoon boat waiting to surprise Kelly!

Getting married in Lake Almanor will be extremely meaningful for us. Robert was lucky enough to make his childhood summer memories here. Which has now turned into one of our favorite spots to make our own new memories. Having a chance to share our biggest moment with our closest friends and family at a place we love, would be all we could ask for.
