Casey Anne Walsh
Casey Anne Walsh - Maid of Honor
How we fell in love: On October 3, 1994, Mac was born and I was in kindergarten. We've been in sisterly love ever since. Everyone thought she was going to be a boy but I wanted a little sister so badly that I prayed and prayed and prayed and my prayers were answered. Ever since I had been trying to annoy her as much as possible by being bossy, singing her "favorite song," and asking too many questions about her games. I can't imagine my life without her waking up at 6:00am every morning on Christmas Day, being the best aunt Rox could ask for, and so much more.
Brent Schneider
Brent Schneider - Best Man
Brent and I went to Green Hope High School and had no idea each other existed. We finally met in Garrett dorm our first year of college at East Carolina University in Greenville and lived together for 3 years at Copper Beech. Sharing the 3rd floor of our townhouse, we bonded over our interests in video games, Batman, and sports. Brent is currently engaged to one of our good friends, Burleigh.
Spencer Dail
Spencer Dail - Groomsman
Spencer and I also met in dental school and became fast friends with our combined interests in video games, craft beer, and football. While on rotation in Sylva, he and I explored the breweries surrounding the area including the many in Asheville as well as having fun times during trips to his beach house and brew days at Spencer's house in Farmville.
Carol Bledsoe
Carol Bledsoe - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: We met in October 2007 but truly fell in love on February 19th, 2009 over lunch at Lenoir Dining Hall in an attempt to find a roommate to live with me in Manly dorm. We quickly realized we were a perfect match through enthusiasm for Disney movies, endless love of dogs, a passion for reading, health career goals and unhealthy addiction to upscale clothing.
Bryan Moon
Bryan Moon - Groomsman
Bryan and I lived together for 4 years and became close friends when we met during our time in Garrett dorm. Since then we shared many fun times at Copper Beech, Treybrooke, downtown Greenville, and at ECU football games. We've also enjoyed many rounds of golf together, even though I hold him up with my high handicap. Bryan recently married his longtime sweetheart, Caity.
Leslie Darden
Leslie Darden - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: In June of 1990, I moved to Fayetteville and needed someone to show me how Huntington and Thorncliff lived life. The friendship blossomed and led to so many wonderful memories that included Barbies, laundry baskets, farts, dog obsessions, sleep overs, beanie babies, trampolines, Zorba's breakfasts turned into Sutton's, a love of UNC, crazy carpool rides and many more shenanigans.
Han O
Han O - Groomsman
We met in dental school and have been close since. While living together for 2 years we shared an enthusiasm for foods of all kinds, video games, and good times. Throughout our time at Treybrooke 314-32, Han shared with me his vast knowledge of asian cuisine including the art of making spring rolls, folding chopstick holders from their paper wrappers, and how to cut my finger on a mandolin.
Anna Gannon Hardy
Anna Gannon Hardy - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: Our first date was on Oct 22, 2005 at a UNC football game when my mom got kidney stones and we had to take her to the hospital. Anna was so helpful and nice about the disaster of a day. That's when I knew she was a keeper! We've been great friends ever since - rooming together in college, chowing down on Chinese at Christmas, Black Friday shopping, dominating at pictionary, eating Chili's constantly and an obsession with animated movies (Frozen, Hoodwinked, etc).
Tommy Walsh
Tommy Walsh - Groomsman
Brother of the bride. Tommy and I first met when I went to Kelly's house in Fayetteville to meet her parents. We quickly learned we shared an interest in video games, sampling new beers, and suffering from allergies brought about by the oppressive, Fayetteville pollen. You also get to know each other very well when bunking in the same room when the Walsh house is full with visitors!
Diana Luckhardt
Diana Luckhardt - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: On October 29, 2011 we took a road trip to the Missions of Mercy dental clinic in Dare County, NC. We strengthened our bond while attempting to open wine bottles with a pen in the Dominican Republic, devising better sleep schedules, commiserating over dental school stress, eating copious amounts of food at Han's house, and living together "part-time."
Steven Wells
Steven Wells - Groomsman
Stephen and I knew each other in high school, but became good friends when we were roommates our first year at ECU in Garrett dorm. We shared many fun nights playing Guitar Hero and Halo with our other dorm-mates and the occasional ventures into downtown Greenville. Living next door at Copper Beech, we had many great memories including some late night Cookout runs.
Mahelet Negash
Mahelet Negash - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: On March 8, 2010 in the Dominican Republic on a dental mission trip where we made a "no-shower pact" for the entire week (pictured just before the shower on the left). Our love was solidified through sketchy bus trips to New York and cooking shows. Even though she's across the country, we have continued our ridiculous love affair with food, shopping, music exchange, dentistry and each other ever since.
Meagan Parker
Meagan Parker - Bridesmaid
How we fell in love: We had a brief affair starting March 14, 2010 in the Dominican Republic on a dental mission trip. The "almost unable to land" part of the flight back really solidified the friendship. Those that almost die together, stay together so in July 2011, we became and stayed roommates throughout dental school. Plenty of study nights, cookie cravings and addition to TV shows. I would not have survived dental school without her!
