Our Wedding

To tell you that this story is normal would be far from the truth. We met in Marshall MN in the fall of 2020. We had a couple of dates and I (Nick) wasnt ready to make the commitment Kelly wanted. Kelly ended up moving back to Texas and I continued my work. I eventually ended up working in California and after a year decided to invite Kelly out for a week. I thought it would be cool to have a friend come visit me and explore the coast. After the visit I dropped her off at the airport and she flew back home to Texas. Two days later I couldnt stop thinking about her. Couldnt believe that I had just let this saint of a woman just fly back to Texas without telling her how I felt. I ended up telling her over the phone that I liked her and wanted to have a relationship. She freaked out and had to call her brother to tell him that I had finally come around. I ended up asking her if she would be willing to come live with me in California so I didnt have to quit my job. I thought she would think about it for a little while but within a minute of asking she said yes! She was suppose to move to California with me but I ended up getting moved for work to Illinois. I gave her one last chance to back out. She adamantly said no she was just going to have to go to Illinois then. She moved in with me in Illinois in September of 2022. Since then everything has seemed like a blur. We ended up leaving California in April of 2023 for a job in Minnesota closer to home and shortly after bought our first house in October of 2023. A short 9 months after that we got our first puppy together. Now having Boss and Remi as our fur babies, life could not be more chaotic and we love it.
