How We Met:

In Summer of 2020, Jesse and I met through mutual friends Kelli and Laura. In September of 2020, we took a trip to Nags Head, NC with our close friends and this is where our story begins♥️

Our First Date:

On September 20th, 2020, Jesse took me to play golf at the Woodlands golf course. It was a beautiful day outside, but it was not a beautiful round of golf. Jesse and I both lost about 10 golf balls each and joke today it was only because we were both nervous! Safe to say, that day we made an agreement that we would never play that course again.

Engagement Day:

In September 2022, Jesse and I were back in Nags Head, NC for our bi-annual vacation trip with our close friends. Jesse had asked me to watch the sunrise with him one morning while we were on the vacation to which I agreed! When the morning came, I made every excuse to push it to the next day however Jesse was persistent that we go watch it that morning. As we were walking to the beach on our private beach access, I noticed that there were candles lined up along the access and a white blanket at the end. I started to walk away from the set up because I was convinced that we were ruining someone else’s surprise! Jesse convinced me to sit on the blanket to watch the sunrise to which I replied that we had to make it look like no one was here so that whoever set this up would not be upset that we ruined it. A few minutes later, Jesse asked me to stand up, took my hands, and got down on one knee - The set up was for me♥️
