(Imagine this is the 'opening crawl' to describe our relationship over the last ~11 years. And yes that means you should play the Star Wars theme while reading)

In a Galaxy Far, Far Away....

JK... In Stonewall, Manitoba two kids, who had never shared a class or homeroom, suddenly had 7 of their 8 class blocks together in their grade 12 year. Names won't be named but one of the two struggled with math and the other decided the perfect excuse to hangout was to become their tutor. Tutoring was done, hockey was watched (suddenly there was not just one, but two Ottawa Senators fans), and the two decided to be grad dates. The rest, as they say, is history.

In all seriousness, it was the beginning of a beautiful partnership that has now spanned over a decade. We've been able to be there for each other as we discovered who we were as adults. We've supported each other as we became established in our careers, we became dog parents together to the cutest puppy on the planet, and most recently we embarked on a new adventure away from "home" in a new province. Through it all, we've discovered, that our true home is wherever we are together.

A decade full of highs and lows that has finally brought us to our wedding. To find a soul mate in each other so young has been one of the best gifts this life has brought us. We are so excited to make it official with our closest friends and family.
