Devon and I met on Tinder of all places. Funny enough we actually matched on two different dating apps. Facebook Dating, and Tinder. We hit it off pretty quickly. Devon has a good personality with a huge heart! Always thinking of others! In addition to that, he’s FUNNY! We find ourselves constantly laughing when together. On our first date, I met him at his place (I know come on Kels!!) and he cooked me dinner. We hung out and talked all night long. Things felt comfortable; not awkward at all. Things progressed and in August of 2023, we made it official. All though we hadn’t known each other long, it felt like I knew him for a good part of my life. Things moved quickly and Devon and I became engaged in May of 2024. I now understand the saying, “When you know, you know”. He became my best friend and I couldn’t imagine life without him and he had expressed the same. He taught me things that I didn’t know or want to believe about myself. He was patient when I wasn’t. He was calm when I was ANYTHING but lol. He continues to deal with my attitude but isn’t afraid to put me in my place when needed. That was new to me. 😂 We see each other for who we are and the amount of love that we continue to have for one another is something I hope we never lose or forget. He is my best friend, my soulmate and the love of my life. He makes me want to be a better person and I him. When days are tough he is by my side comforting me. We challenge each other in the best of ways. He is everything I could want in a Husband and more! We are very excited to start this next chapter of our lives and are excited to celebrate with you all! 🤍
