Kelsey and Chris met in the late summer of 2019, when a planned date of meeting up for street tacos had to be changed last minute due to a typical Pittsburgh rainstorm. Taking shelter in a nearby restaurant, they sat for hours getting to know each other and learning that they had a mutual love of all things nerdy. They soon began dating, and as we all know 6 months later the entire world shut down due to COVID.

Chris moved into Kelsey's apartment during the lockdown, and they spent a very hot, very cramped summer together that involved lots of baking, neighborhood walks, and at-home haircuts. Once the pandemic restrictions started to ease up, they decided it was time to find a more appropriately-sized place to live. As if this wasn't enough of a whirlwind, they decided to adopt a dog from the local shelter just one month into living together in the new apartment. Enter Olive, the best dog who ever lived!

As the years went on, their love grew just as their little family did. Now, after over 5 years together, 4 job changes, 3 moves, and 1 old house purchase later, they are ready to say 'I do' in front of all their beloved friends and family.
