Kelsey and Jeffrey first met in 2019 during their junior year of high school. Kelsey was a customer at Skyline Chili in Finneytown, where Jeffrey was working in the kitchen. After several visits and seeing him each time, Kelsey eventually worked up the courage to ask for his Snapchat. That moment marked the beginning of their friendship.

For their senior year, Kelsey and Jeffrey chose to attend Roger Bacon’s homecoming together as friends. They were not sure about dating yet since they went to different high schools. 


When the COVID-19 lockdown began, Kelsey and Jeffrey started spending time together nearly every day. From bike rides and walks to enjoying ice cream dates, they made the most of their time together. In July 2020, at Caesar Creek Lake, Jeffrey asked Kelsey to be his girlfriend, and from that moment on, they’ve been inseparable.

Kelsey and Jeffrey both chose to stay close to home and attend the University of Cincinnati. Since classes were held online in the fall of 2020, they often studied and completed their coursework together at the library.

In the spring of 2021, Kelsey and Jeffrey’s first vacation together was to treasure Island, Florida with Kelsey’s family. They spent a week there and made lifelong memories and fell in love with treasure Island.

In the fall of 2022, Kelsey and Jeffrey were finally able to begin in-person classes. Jeffrey started at the University of Cincinnati’s Lindner College of Business, pursuing a degree in Marketing, while Kelsey attended the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College, studying Radiologic Technology.

With many little trips in between, spring of 2023 Kelsey and Jeffrey went back to treasure Island Florida. They knew this place was special so they couldn’t resist going back.

Kelsey and Jeffrey have spent every holiday together, celebrating with both friends and family and creating memories along the way. They can’t wait to start holiday traditions of their own!


In the spring of 2024, both Kelsey and Jeffrey completed their degree’s at the University of Cincinnati.

On July 4, 2024 in Treasure Island Florida, Jeffrey got down on one knee and asked Kelsey to marry him. She obviously said yes! Then they celebrated with a nice long vacation at the beach!

Kelsey and Jeffrey now are enjoying their engagement and planning for their wedding on October 10, 2025! We will see everyone very soon!
