Our Wedding

Andrew&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;online,&nbsp;I&nbsp;had&nbsp;been&nbsp;single&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;recently&nbsp;single.&nbsp;We&nbsp;agreed&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;up&nbsp;for&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;after&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;of&nbsp;talking.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;early&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;date!&nbsp;Beat&nbsp;me,&nbsp;which&nbsp;never&nbsp;happens!&nbsp;We&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;then&nbsp;ended&nbsp;the&nbsp;date&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;walk&nbsp;and&nbsp;eating&nbsp;chocolate&nbsp;chip&nbsp;cookies!&nbsp;Neither&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;can&nbsp;remember&nbsp;the&nbsp;date&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;date!&nbsp; After&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;months&nbsp;of&nbsp;hanging&nbsp;out,&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;getting&nbsp;ready&nbsp;to&nbsp;graduate&nbsp;from&nbsp;MRI&nbsp;school.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;that&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;pandemic,&nbsp;I&nbsp;wouldn't&nbsp;be&nbsp;walking&nbsp;for&nbsp;graduation.&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;was&nbsp;living&nbsp;in&nbsp;Hagerman&nbsp;Idaho&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;there&nbsp;were&nbsp;some&nbsp;really&nbsp;cool&nbsp;hikes&nbsp;around&nbsp;the&nbsp;area.&nbsp;We&nbsp;spent&nbsp;my&nbsp;graduation&nbsp;day&nbsp;hiking&nbsp;with&nbsp;my&nbsp;parents,&nbsp;which&nbsp;was&nbsp;quite&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;impression!So&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;he&nbsp;met&nbsp;my&nbsp;parents,&nbsp;not&nbsp;only&nbsp;did&nbsp;we&nbsp;go&nbsp;hiking,&nbsp;but&nbsp;they&nbsp;stayed&nbsp;the&nbsp;night&nbsp;at&nbsp;his&nbsp;place!&nbsp; Andrew&nbsp;and&nbsp;my&nbsp;dad&nbsp;didn't&nbsp;do&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;of&nbsp;talking,&nbsp;but&nbsp;my&nbsp;dad&nbsp;told&nbsp;my&nbsp;mom&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;really&nbsp;liked&nbsp;him.&nbsp; First&nbsp;time&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;Andrew's&nbsp;parents&nbsp;was&nbsp;when&nbsp;we&nbsp;flew&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;Iowa.&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;had&nbsp;1&nbsp;job&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;flight,&nbsp;get&nbsp;us&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;gate&nbsp;on&nbsp;time.&nbsp;He&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;reading&nbsp;the&nbsp;time&nbsp;wrong&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;missed&nbsp;our&nbsp;flight&nbsp;from&nbsp;Denver.&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;stuck&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;airport&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;hours!&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;mortified,&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;his&nbsp;parents&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;first&nbsp;time&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;going&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;HOURS&nbsp;late!&nbsp;We&nbsp;finally&nbsp;made&nbsp;it&nbsp;to&nbsp;Iowa&nbsp;and&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;time&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;parents.&nbsp;I&nbsp;met&nbsp;some&nbsp;of&nbsp;his&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;I&nbsp;understand&nbsp;why&nbsp;they're&nbsp;still&nbsp;the&nbsp;best&nbsp;of&nbsp;friends.&nbsp; Fast&nbsp;forward&nbsp;a&nbsp;few&nbsp;years,&nbsp;I&nbsp;started&nbsp;traveling&nbsp;for&nbsp;work.&nbsp;During&nbsp;my&nbsp;first&nbsp;assignment&nbsp;my&nbsp;mom&nbsp;was&nbsp;sick&nbsp;and&nbsp;ended&nbsp;up&nbsp;going&nbsp;on&nbsp;hospice&nbsp;care.&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;was&nbsp;by&nbsp;my&nbsp;side&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;entire&nbsp;process.&nbsp;He&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;incredibly&nbsp;helpful,&nbsp;understanding,&nbsp;and&nbsp;kind.&nbsp;I&nbsp;already&nbsp;knew&nbsp;he&nbsp;was&nbsp;the&nbsp;person&nbsp;I&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;with&nbsp;forever,&nbsp;but&nbsp;going&nbsp;through&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;worst&nbsp;days&nbsp;of&nbsp;my&nbsp;life,&nbsp;with&nbsp;him&nbsp;by&nbsp;my&nbsp;side,&nbsp;solidified&nbsp;that&nbsp;feeling.&nbsp; A&nbsp;few&nbsp;months&nbsp;later,&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;up&nbsp;at&nbsp;our&nbsp;cabin&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;backpacking&nbsp;trip.&nbsp;We&nbsp;talked&nbsp;about&nbsp;life&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;backpacked&nbsp;and&nbsp;camped&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;night.&nbsp;On&nbsp;our&nbsp;way&nbsp;out&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;mountains,&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;raining,&nbsp;so&nbsp;we&nbsp;quickly&nbsp;made&nbsp;our&nbsp;way&nbsp;back&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;cabin.&nbsp; I&nbsp;was&nbsp;anxious&nbsp;to&nbsp;get&nbsp;back&nbsp;home,&nbsp;and&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;kept&nbsp;saying,&nbsp;"Just&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;being&nbsp;here."&nbsp;We&nbsp;were&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;back&nbsp;porch&nbsp;listening&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;creek&nbsp;and&nbsp;rain.&nbsp;Andrew&nbsp;got&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;at&nbsp;my&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;place&nbsp;and&nbsp;popped&nbsp;the&nbsp;question.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;perfect!&nbsp;Just&nbsp;the&nbsp;2&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;(well&nbsp;mom&nbsp;was&nbsp;probably&nbsp;there&nbsp;too&nbsp;:)&nbsp;)&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;place&nbsp;I've&nbsp;loved&nbsp;since&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;kid. We&nbsp;are&nbsp;both&nbsp;very&nbsp;excited&nbsp;to&nbsp;start&nbsp;this&nbsp;new&nbsp;chapter&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;life!&nbsp;And&nbsp;we&nbsp;are&nbsp;honored&nbsp;to&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;with&nbsp;our&nbsp;family&nbsp;and&nbsp;friends&nbsp;💜

My Sunday funday gal, my adventure partner, and one of my best friends! Cleo and I go back to the good ole college days. Our friendship was solidified after a road trip to Oregon. Since then, we have had so many adventures, lots of laughing, and maybe a few nights we don't remember. I'm so excited to have her with me during this special day!

Rachel and I's friendship started at ShopKo, where we both worked. In typical girl way, I first thought she was such a b, but then got to know her and realized she is pretty darn awesome! We have definitely gotten into some trouble (not jail trouble), laughed way to hard, and shared some really fun memories. I love the friend group that she introduced me to and enjoy every time we get together. Rachel is the calm to my craziness, and I am so excited to have her by my side!

AKA Katie! We met at ShopKo, and have been friends ever since! She is just as adventurous as I and we have had some fun adventures! From downtown Missoula fun to exploring parts of Florida, we have never been short on laughing and fun! I love hanging with her, her kiddos, and her parents. Gives me an excuse to come back to Florida :)

Megan was a big part of the beginning of Andrew and I's relationship. I lived with her in Nampa and she is a wonderful person and friend! She has been there for some pretty significant things in my life and I'm so thankful for our friendship!

Tiff is married to my youngest brother Tyler. I feel like we've known her for forever! She is funny and a blast to be around! She is like me and doesn't take s*** from anyone. She is a wonderful addition to the family and I'm excited for her to be a part of the big day!

Micah and I met in elementary school. As any young kid would think at the moment, "this will be a lifelong friendship". As it turns out, this premonition has, and will continue to hold truth. We have continued to hang out yearly despite the distance. Micah is and has always been a source of knowledge and insight.

Brandon and I have been friends since elementary school. We have remained friends ever since. This is mainly attributed to his infectious personality and ever-present willingness to help people. It doesn't hurt that he lets me catch more fish than him every year!

Josh and I met in elementary school. We've had many memories of lighting bonfires/ fireworks on the mixdorf ranch. We have always relied on being a guiding light for one another, And still do to this day.

Adam is Andrew's brother. They spend a lot of time chatting on the phone about all things manly. Talking about cars, hunting, snowmobiles, etc. I love that Andrew is close with his brother. We are excited to have him celebrate our day with us!

Jake is Kelsey's brother. Andrew and Jake have become really close and spend a lot of time talking about trapping, hunting, and other manly things. I'm so glad these two have formed such a good friendship. Love that they're so close!

Tyler is Kelsey's youngest brother. Andrew and Tyler have formed a wonderful friendship! So excited to have Tyler not only be by our side for our big day, but he will be marrying us!

Tom and I met in 2013 while working for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Both being midwest boys, we instantly bonded on our love for warmwater fishing and cooking good food. We spent several years working together and many more years recreating together.

Riley and I met in 2015 while working for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Through several hunting and fishing forays I realized we were kindred spirits afield. We co-owned 4 llamas while I lived in Idaho and had many memorable adventures with them.

Craig and I met by default. Kelsey and his wife Cleo were/are good friends. Now Craig and I are better friends!

My little Nova. She is my best friend Sarah's little girl. I jokingly claim that she is half mine :) I have loved watching her grow up (it happened way to fast!) She is so funny, smart, and a little sassy! I can't imagine my life without her in it!

My favorite little girl in the whole wide world! May is my brother Jake and sister in law Kaylina's little girl. I am the cool auntie and I love spending time with May. She is the light of my life and I couldn't imagine the big day without her being a part of it! 

Matt is our nephew! He is so stinking smart! I have loved watching him grow up and couldn't imagine my life without him. Matt is so special to Andrew and I and we love him so much!

ARE KIDS ALLOWED:Absolutely! Please bring kiddos! Just be aware that there is a creek down at the bottom of the wedding site.

ARE PETS ALLOWED:As much as we love your pets, we prefer this be a pet free event!

WILL THERE BE ACCESS TO UBER, LYFT, OR TAXIS?Unfortunately, there is no cell service at the wedding location and this is a small town. There is NO uber, lyft, or taxi services. So please plan accordingly. There will be alcohol served (to those 21 and older) and we want all of our guests to be safe and make it home. Please don't drink and drive!

BATHROOMS:
There will be a porta- potty brought in to use, its a bathtoom on a trailer. Montana pretty potty is the company we are using. The cabins on site have a little septic system and will NOT be used during the wedding. The potty brought in is nice! And let's be honest, by the end of the night, guys will probably be using the woods as a bathroom!

ATTIRE:This is a casual event! With that being said, the wedding and reception will be held outside. So feel free to dress as casual (ok, maybe no yoga pants and t shirts) or get as dressed up as you choose! If you like to wear heels outside, also feel free to do so! Definitely not a requirement though!

Travel from Idaho Fallls, Idaho.From I 15 travel 209 miles to the I 90 connection (headed towards Missoula)Once on the I90 you will travel to exit 208 for Anacondaor You can take exit 154 to Drummond. (this would be back tracking) once you exit 208 into Anaconda, you'll travel 40.5 miles to Maxville, the turn off will be on the right hand side. It's not a huge sign, so It can be easy to miss. There will be purple and blue balloons tied to the light post at the turn off. If you come from the Drummond exit, you will drive approximately 16 miles from the exit. Maxville will be on the left hand side. The sign is not big, so can be easy to miss. There will be purple and blue balloons on a light pole at the turn off.

TRAVEL FROM MISSOULA, MONTANA:Head East on I90 for 64 miles. You'll see the 153 exit, take that. Once you hit the stop sign, turn right onto MT-1S. Travel for 15 miles. The turn off for Maxville will be on the left hand side of the road. Sign can be hard to miss, so there will be purple and blue balloons tied to a light pole. Once on the road in Maxville, you'll pass a VFW on the right hand side. Keep driving approx. 3 miles. There will be people helping park cars.

Philipsburg is 11.4 miles away from Maxville. There is only a few rooms at this hotel.

The town of Pburg as we call it, has a lot of fun activities to do. A huge candy store, sapphire gallery, lots of little shops to shop in, and gem mountain (where you can go pan for sapphires!)

Philipsburg Montana

A cool ghost town that is just a few miles away from Drummond Montana.

Garnet Ghost Town

138 miles from Missoula, this park is BEAUTIFUL! and a must see if you haven't been before. You'll have to pre buy your tickets, the park has gotten so busy that you can't just drive into the park anymore. Definitely a fun day trip!

Glacier National Park

There is so much to do in Missoula. Lots of breweries, distilleries, good restaurants, and a fun downtown to check out. Rockin rudy's is a Missoula treasure to check out!

Missoula Montana

If you're looking for a nice drive you can head down the bitterroot and check out the several small towns on the way. You can also head up towards Polson where Flathead lake is located. Big Fork is another Montana treasure, if you head up to the flathead this is a cute place to check out!

Bitterroot area

This natural hot spring is such a cool place! You'll want to book this ASAP, they typically book out a year in advance. They don't take same day or walk in day trips.

Quinn's Hot Springs Resort

280 miles away from Missoula, but worth the drive to check out the park. It is huge! Might need a couple of days to take in the scenery and go for some hikes! You can fly out of Bozeman, Montana if you didn't want to fly out of Missoula! (For our friends not from Missoula)
