Our Wedding

Our story began during the challenging days of Covid—a time when we all carefully guarded our health and every connection. Amidst it all, Kelsey and Clay started texting, and just as fate would have it, Clay had recently recovered and gained immunity. Their newfound safety allowed their conversations to blossom into meeting up, again and again.Fast forward a few years: Clay invited Kelsey on a memorable hike up Grandad's Bluff. As they admired the breathtaking sunset, Kelsey whispered, “It really is gorgeous up here,” and Clay replied with a tender smile, “Only one thing could make it even better.” In that magical moment, Kelsey looked around in surprise to see Clay down on one knee.Judy was overjoyed to be the sole witness to her parents’ promise—a vow of love and commitment to last forever.

Visit Grandad Bluff and enjoy a breathtaking view from the vista at the top, from whence you can see the four-state area of the beautiful unglaciated coulee region.

Grandad Bluff Park

Jump on a beautiful replica of the old wooden paddlewheel boat, the Mississippi Queen for a short cruise up and down the Mississippi. They serve drinks and food, and the sights are spectacular.
