Our Wedding

Kelsey and Nathan’s love story began a few weeks into their freshman year of college. Nathan moved to Lancaster to attend Millersville University in late August of 2019. Kelsey, a Lancaster native, also began attending Millersville University at that same time. 	Kelsey’s friend Sam, asked if she wanted to go eat lunch at the Upper Deck (the main dining hall at the Ville) with some people from her orientation group to which Kelsey agreed. While mainly Sam was talking to the group, Kelsey realized that Nathan, who had been sitting across from her, kept on looking at her because of her eyes and her smile. 	On September 3rd 2019, Kelsey asked Sam if she would be interested in going to First Friday downtown with the group of people from lunch that week. Sam was interested and told Kelsey to set it up and that she would also help ask everyone. Sam had only given Kelsey one person’s Snapchat before they both got distracted. It was Nathan’s.	Kelsey added Nathan on Snapchat and they began talking that evening. Nathan and Kelsey both realized how easy it was to talk with each other and thoroughly enjoyed each other’s conversation. Once they had gotten to know each other, they realized they had a lot in common.&nbsp; 	On September 14th, Nathan’s family visited Lancaster to visit Nathan at school. Nathan invited Kelsey to go to dinner with him and his family to which Kelsey accepted. So, Kelsey met Nathan’s family that evening. 	A few days later, Nathan asked Kelsey out on a date. On September 21st, 2019 Nathan picked Kelsey up from her house and took them to Rachel’s Cafe and Creperie for their first date. After lunch, they went back to Kelsey’s house where Nathan met Kelsey’s parents.&nbsp; 	Fast forward four years and on November 12th, 2023, Nathan proposed to Kelsey in Gettysburg. A place that was special to both of them since this was the place they took their first trip together. Kelsey and Nathan cannot wait to celebrate the first night of the rest of their lives together, surrounded by all of their loved ones.

We have booked a transportation service for guests staying at Lancaster Inn &amp; Suites and The Wilbur Lititz. The bus will leave Lancaster Inn &amp; Suites at 3:30PM and will leave the Wilbur at 4:15PM. The bus will leave the venue at the end of the night at 10:15PM. The driver will wait no longer than 15 minutes after departure time at the end of the evening.
