WHEN IS THE CUT-OFF DATE TO BOOK UNDER THE WEDDING BLOCK?

The cut-off date for the Brooks/Cartwright wedding rate is May 9, 2025. Be sure to book your hotel room before then! After May 9: the rest of the rooms will be released back to the hotel, and the regular rate will be applied when booking.

HOW DO I BOOK MY HOTEL ROOM?

The Hyatt recommends using a web based reservation system to make your reservation. Use the link: Brooks and Cartwright Wedding Room Block. If you are having trouble reserving online, call the front desk.

HOW MANY BEDS COME IN THE HOTEL ROOM?

The standard room comes with one (1) king size bed. If you wish to have the standard room with two (2) double beds, please call the front desk and let them know you would like to modify your reservation. Upgrades such as a lake view or skyline view are available (for an additional charge) upon request.

IS THERE PARKING ON THE HOTEL PROPERTY?

Yes! The Brooks/Cartwright wedding block has a discounted rate of $28 per night for parking with in and out privileges. The parking garage is conveniently located on the hotel property.

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE HOTEL FROM THE WEDDING VENUE?

The Hyatt Regency is 3.5 miles or 11-20 minutes (max) drive from the The Bridgeport Art Center. Please be mindful of how much time you will need to get your car and get to the venue in time to not miss the wedding festivities!

O'Hare International Airport (ORD): 21 miles

Midway International Airport (MDW): 9 miles

WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE FROM THE WEDDING VENUE TO THE HOTEL?

No. There will be no transportation accommodations to or from the hotel. Please be sure to work that out ahead of your arrival to the wedding venue!

DO I HAVE TO BOOK THE HOTEL FOR FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT?

No. We got the hotel block for the entire weekend just in case our out of town guests wanted to come into the city earlier than our wedding date! You are at liberty to book however many nights stay that you desire.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE ON THE HOTEL PROPERTY?

Yes- there are several food options on the hotel property. There is a Market pantry on the main floor of the hotel for quick bites and snack options.

DOES A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST COME WITH MY HOTEL BOOKING?

No. The Hyatt does not offer complimentary breakfast, however there is the Market Pantry on the 1st floor as well as other restaurants available on the property.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GET TO THE WEDDING VENUE?

If you are coming from I-90: look for the Chicago White Sox Stadium (Guaranteed Rate Field). Turn off on that exit! The venue is about 10 minutes west of the ballpark.
