On December 12th of 2013, while attending Texas State University in San Marcos, Jesse and Kelsey decided to go with mutual friends to a dancehall located in Austin, Texas.

The two were introduced and Jesse was encouraged to take Kelsey out onto the dance floor... and the rest was history. After an evening of fun, Jesse and Kelsey continued their newfound relationship throughout their Christmas break and into the following spring semester.

They remained together throughout their time at Texas State and after, learning about one another, meeting each other’s friends and families, growing with one another, maturing, and learning together.

As time went on, Jesse and Kelsey both knew they were meant for each other. Kelsey was eager to know when Jesse would ask the question. In all honesty, there were a lot of people who were eagerly awaiting the day Jesse would ask Kelsey, but love is not only kind, it is also patient…

After a lot of patience, the day finally came. The time was right, and the opportunity presented itself. February 25th of 2023 was the day Jesse asked Kelsey for her hand in marriage.

Both are eager to begin their new adventure in life. Having a never-ending love, they continue to grow, support one another, lift each other up, want to begin a family, and live the rest of their lives together.
