Transportation & Arrival

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30. Please arrive no later than 5:45 pm. If you are running late and arrive after this time, you will not be permitted to attend the ceremony, however, we look forward to seeing you at the reception to follow!

How do we get from the hotel to the wedding venue?

Uber or Lyft are great options and relatively inexpensive down in Jupiter. Keep in mind, Jupiter is not a huge area so plan ahead, ride together, and better off early than late! We are sure our friends and family will be keeping a majority of the rideshare drivers in the area busy. There are plenty of cool places by the venue to grab a drink beforehand if you want to beat the rush and make sure you arrive on time. If you choose to drive, there will be free valet at the venue.

Ceremony & Reception

What should I wear?

Ladies - Please do not wear any shade of white or blue. A white dress with a pattern is still white - please do not wear it if it is questionable! Men - please wear nice slacks with a button down dress shirt. No polos or Hawaiian shirts. Blue or white shirts are fine for you. No tie or jacket necessary. Please do not wear white or off-white pants. Tan or khaki color is fine. We want you to be comfortable and would love to see you dressed up with us! Light dresses/fancy sundresses, suits for the guys - no jeans, please! You can expect temperatures to be 80-85 degrees. The ceremony and the reception will be indoors with air conditioning. Cocktail hour will take place outside, on a covered deck. We do expect to see everyone on the dance floor, so wear something you can GET GROOVY in!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

NOOOOO! Kelsey WILL be a stickler on this one. We are paying a photographer for a reason. And trust me, they don’t come cheap! You will all have access to the pictures as soon as we do. Phones down during the ceremony. You can take as many pictures as you want during the reception!

Drinks???

Don’t worry…we will have an open bar. Make sure you try one of our “signature drinks”!

What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour?

There will be a main reception table featuring charcuterie of international meats, artisan cheese, a tropical fruit display, assorted olives, and spreads. Dig in!! There will also be butler passed hours d’oevres including coconut shrimp, tomato mozzarella bruschetta, mini lobster salad rolls, and mini angus beef burgers.

What will we be having for dinner?

Dinner will start with Pelican Club's twist on a classic Caesar salad. For your entree, you will have a choice of 3: gently blackened mahi mahi with a fruit salad; chicken piccata with a lemon caper butter; or grilled filet mignon with port-wine braised shallots and garlic herb compound butter. All dinner options will be served with a creamy parmesan risotto and a vegetable medley. There will also be a vegetarian option available, with the chef's seasonal selection. The kids meal will be chicken fingers and fries. For dessert, we will be having a cookies and cream, Oreo flavored wedding cake - in honor of the bestest boy, of course.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What’s the best way to let you know?

You will be prompted to let us know when you RSVP!

When will your wedding end? Will there be an after party?

You know it!! The reception will end at 11:00 pm and the after party will take place at our favorite bar, just down the street. You may recognize it from Jimmy Buffet’s “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere” music video, filmed in 2003. Square Grouper is located right on the water and can get a little chilly at night catching the breeze off the water, so bring a light jacket or sweater! This is a 21+ establishment, so please keep that in mind if your kiddos will be at the wedding!

RSVP

Can I bring my kids?

Yes! We are so excited and grateful to have your family join us for our special day. There are kid-friendly meals as well, so please indicate when meal options come out if your kiddo(s) would like a kid or adult meal! Make sure you check out the PowerPoint and activities in the "Things to Do" tab to see what kinds of family-friendly activities there are in the area as well! There are lots of fun things to do while you are down here :)

Can I bring a +1?

We appreciate you traveling for our special day and will do our best to accommodate your significant others, although we do have to be mindful of our venue’s restrictions and guest limitations. Your invitation will explicitly state the number of guests invited with your party.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by April 15, 2024 so that we can finalize numbers with vendors and submit our final payments. You will certainly be receiving reminders from us, more and more frequently as we approach the deadline.

Destination-Related Questions

This is a destination wedding. What can we do while we are in the area?

We realize that we are asking a lot of you in asking you to travel for our wedding, and we appreciate your presence more than you know. Juno Beach/Jupiter Florida holds a very special place in our hearts and we are excited to share it with all of you! We have put together a PDF/PowerPoint to outline all of the fun things to do in the area that we hope you will find helpful, such as putt-putt, a turtle “zoo”, a lighthouse museum and tour, paddle boarding, and kayaking, as well as some of our favorite restaurants! Check this out on the "Things to Do" tab!

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Yes! We are very much looking forward to celebrating with our family all weekend long. We will kick off Wednesday with a welcome pizza party at the hotel pool. Friday we will be relaxing and recovering around the beach and pool. Saturday, we will have plenty of chairs and umbrellas for an all-day-long beach party right outside of our hotel’s beach access point. We will end the weekend Saturday night with a nice dinner at U-Tiki which all are welcome to join and share memories (that some may not remember…lol) of the weekend.

Misc.

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Your presence will be missed! Unfortunately, we cannot offer a virtual wedding celebration, however, we are hiring a videographer to capture the highlights of the day and we will share this video with everyone as soon as it becomes available!

Do you have a wedding registry?

No, we do not have a wedding registry - If you would like to give a gift, please consider contributing to our cash fund as we are saving up for a house and planning for our future! 🙂
