Once upon a time, Kelsey across a cute looking nerd's profile that said he was into Harry Potter. Anxious to delete the app, because of the sensory overload, Kelsey was upfront with the cute nerd named Stephen that she would be removing the app. Stephen, was eager for a first date with Kelsey, but Kelsey was a bit more reserved at first about having a date right away. Stephen let her know that he was unsure about waiting and may not wait. Stephen did wait for Kelsey once he realized how special this girl was and they went on their first date a few weeks later.

That first date lasted hours, as it turns out. They started out at Succulent Coffee on Balboa Island. Much to Stephen's surprise, Kelsey showed up with Sidecar Donuts. Stephen had never tried these donuts before and was delighted. Then the two set off on a beach date, biking to the Balboa pier to get Ruby's for lunch. The two rode the Ferris wheel on their way back from the pier.

Flash foward to years later, Stephen was very thoughtful and knew how much Kelsey loved Balboa Island. So he decided in a well thought out and orchestrated plan that she was going to take pictures with a friend in Balboa Island while he saw nursing friends. Kelsey went along with her friend Mackenzie and took pictures. When she turned the corner, she saw Stephen in a Hawaiian shirt with bunches of roses in vases, a line of pictures, candles, and a charcuterie board. In utter awe and amazement, Kelsey almost didn't notice the pictures, as she had tunnel vision for her love. Kelsey did notice the pictures as she walked down the dock on her way to Stephen. Circling back to how they first started talking, Stephen took out a golden snitch ring box from his shirt pocket and got down on one knee and asked "will you marry me?" Kelsey enthusiastically said yes, Stephen was misty in the eyes and both were joyous.

Kelsey and Stephen are counting down the days until their wedding and can't wait to celebrate with all of you.
