We found each other on Bumble, an online dating site. We had our first date at BJ'S restaurant. I was reluctant to go, but so glad I did! Matt was so nice, easy to talk to and... those eyelashes!!!!

I invited him to our family BBQ (the very next day) He fit right in and I loved the way he engaged and embraced the fam. We have talked EVERY day since that first date, April 20, 2019 . Matt has affectionately celebrated the 20th of every month with an anniversary surprise!

We love our small but cozy "home sweet home," date nights with just the two of US, and whenever we can... vaca get-a-ways to Mexico. So it was fitting that Mexico is where Matt chose to propose.

On the beach in Peurto Vallarata with a beautiful sunset and my parents standing by (as decoys and photographers.) Matt, on bended knee nervously popped the question. Excited, overjoyed, shocked and shaking ...I said "YES! YES!! YES!!!"

Now, we will both say our "I Do's" in a beautiful destination beach setting on March 12th and we will have a new Anniversary date to celebrate US!
