It was late summer 2017 when we found each other on a dating app called, “Plenty of Fish.” No doubt there will be plenty of fish on any dating app you choose from, but on this particular app, we indeed caught each other’s eyes and our journey quickly started from there.
We both grew up in LA county, but we both felt like our native cities were vastly different. On one end you have an Asian guy from San Gabriel Valley and the other, a white girl from Santa Clarita Valley. How else would we meet if it wasn’t from a dating app?! In todays world, it’s like meeting your future person in a grocery store in any given moment in time. Our background may be different on the outside but from meeting each other, we both found out we shared a common outlook on life. We had relationship goals that were aligned to one another.
We began spending all our free time together getting to know each other, learning from each other and growing with each other. We both had a bucket list of exciting things we wanted to do in life and began fulfilling them 1 by 1 as time progressed. Just like in the Disney movie, “UP,” we were experiencing life as an adventure. So with this wedding, our journey to ‘Paradise Falls’ has just begun and we can’t wait to see all of you there.
