Kelsey and Zac met in high school in the spring of 2017. The two met through yearbook class, and that continued going into their senior year. Being just friends throughout the year, Zac asked Kelsey to prom in the May 2018. They went with a handful of Kelsey's high school friends and had a great time together.

Given their last names, Kelsey and Zac sat right next to each other during their high school graduation ceremony. Kelsey recalls Zac's famous "turn around and thumbs up" right after they received their diploma cover and exited the ExtraMile Arena stage.

After texting for most of the following summer, Kelsey and Zac began college and naturally parted ways. Over four years would pass before Zac texted Kelsey again in September 2022. Two weeks of reconnecting over text later and they went on their first date at Mongolian BBQ.

Kelsey and Zac agree that finding each other the second time was the best thing to ever happen. They got to know each other on a whole new level and quickly developed a bond that continues to today. They've gone on dates including movies, tennis, and hour-long dates when Kelsey is on her work lunch break. They've also camped in Cascade, walked along the Oregon and California coasts, spent quality time with families on Sundays, and plenty more.

Kelsey and Zac moved in together in June 2024 with Zac already having an engagement ring in hand. On a foggy Oregon coast morning in September 2024, he proposed in Kelsey's favorite spot in Cannon Beach. After a year and a half engaged, Kelsey and Zac are ready to make things official and celebrate their love with their close friends and families.
