Sinjin and Kelsey met during freshman English class in 2013. From love notes written on arms, to constant flirting during class, their connection was instant. Fortunately for the two, the timing was off, and both would spend time growing and maturing before rekindling the spark in July of 2016. After spending a few short months together, their feelings grew deeper, and the couple made things official on November 30, 2016. They would spend the rest of their senior year growing together as a couple. In May of 2017, the couple would graduate high school with big plans for their futures. Their first year of college would prove to be the most challenging with distance putting a massive strain on the relationship. By year two, the couple would take a short intermission to work on themselves as individuals while still keeping in contact with one another. The separation was brief, and soon, like an episode of "Love Island U.S.A.," they recoupled. After this, Sinjin spent a lot of time with Kelsey at Lincoln Memorial University as they continued to grow in their love for one another. The couple took many trips to various locations and enjoyed a plethora of date nights. Sinjin continued to support Kelsey through the toughest years of school, and along their journey, they made life-long friends who became family. In May of 2022, Kelsey graduated from college, and by October of the same year, they had moved in together which further strengthened their relationship. Finally, in May of 2024, on one of their many beach trips together, Sinjin planned the proposal. Their night began with dinner at a special location, followed by dessert, before the couple headed back to the condo and beach. Upon their arrival, the proposal was set up (with help from friends), and Sinjin led Kelsey down toward the water (after turning off Kelsey's phone because, in true Kelsey fashion, there was a softball game on). Sinjin got down on one knee and popped the question. Kelsey was ecstatic, and the couple spent the rest of their vacation with friends celebrating the engagement. The two now have plans to tie the knot on July 18, 2025, in Navarre, Florida, and they can't wait to celebrate with everyone.
