The Structure of the Wedding:
Our wedding will take place over a long weekend, with a small, intimate ceremony with only our closest family and wedding party on Friday and a more informal, all-day outdoor reception on Saturday.
Guests invited to the ceremony can expect a brief but formal ceremony on the beach followed by photos and an outdoor dinner with the newlyweds. If they choose, guests invited to the ceremony are welcome to stay for the reception on September 13th.
Guests invited to the reception can expect a full day of fun and celebration. There will be outdoor games, food for grazing, and drinks available.

Q&A:
Q: If we are staying overnight, where can we stay?
A; The wedding party and the immediate family of the bride and groom are invited to stay at the property. For the remainder of our guests, we have booked blocks of rooms at Best Western Plaza Hotel in Saugatuck.
Q: I didn't see a registry, what gift should I get and where should I send it?
A: We are not doing a registry! We have lived together for a while now and feel like we really have everything we need. Your presence at our wedding is already the greatest gift we could ask for. Should you wish to honor us with a gift, a monetary contribution towards our future together would be sincerely appreciated.
Q: I have a dietary restriction, will I be able to eat?
A: We are planning to offer a variety of foods at both the ceremony and reception to suit different lifestyles. If you have a particular concern, please reach out to the bride/groom so we can address it and find something that works for you!
Q: What is the parking situation?
A: We don't anticipate a lack of parking at the property. That being said, please try to carpool if you are able.
Q: Can I bring my kids?
A: We kindly ask that you leave any kids under 15 years old at home for the weekend. Our venue is an AirBnB; as it is somebody's home, we think it is imperative that we treat it with respect and care. In the interest of protecting the home, we would like to do everything we can to prevent any accidents, and that includes avoiding child-wrangling.
Q: Do I get a plus one?
A: We ask that you do not bring anyone who has not specifically been invited, as we have already provided rough head counts to our vendors. Please reach out to the bride or the groom directly if you have a specific question.
Q: How do I get to and from the venue?
A: We ask that you drive if you are not staying on the property. Carpooling is encouraged.
Q: What should I wear to the reception? What is "smart casual"?
A: TBH dress codes are confusing. Just wear something nice that you feel comfortable in for a day outside by the beach. The house does have a pool and a hot tub, so if you are interested in either of those amenities, BRING SWIMWEAR.
Please feel free to contact Michael or Kelsey directly with any additional questions.
