It all started in May of 2021 when Drew Leonard came over to Elsa Godwin & Kelsey's apartment the night before he left to go play summer ball in Butte, MT.

As the three of them started talking, Kelsey jokingly asked Drew if there were any cute guys on his baseball team. Of course, she looked up the roster. She instantly spotted a cute blue eyed boy named Justin Greene and said "Drew set me up with him! He's cute and from Tennessee so he's a country boy!!".

Throughout the whole summer, Drew would jokingly send Kelsey videos and pictures of Justin working out saying "look it's your future husband". Kelsey would just laugh and admire from afar even though she never thought she would get the chance to meet Justin.

Then in July 19 2021, Drew texted Kelsey and Elsa asking to meet him and a friend at Cranky Sams (Missoula bar) to grab a drink since they had a few days off. That friend... Justin Greene.

Kelsey was freaking out because she couldn't believe she was actually getting to meet this southern boy. Little did she know that her world was about to change.

There was a moment when Justin had left the table to use the restroom and Drew leaned over to Kelsey and said "Okay you can stop drooling now."

Needless to say they hit is off from the start. They both say that there was just something different that neither of them had experienced before. They talked for hours like they had known each other their whole life.

The boys then left to head back to Butte & a few weeks later Justin drove back to Missoula to take Kelsey out on a date before he headed home to Tennessee.

They went on their first date on August 3, 2021!

Justin then moved back to Tennessee to finish his last year of college at Milligan University and Kelsey was at the University of Montana finishing her senior year. However, they stayed in touch. They continued to text, FaceTime and chat on the phone for 6 months until Kelsey ended up in Nashville for a girls trip in December of 2021. They reconnected there and the rest is history!

After that trip, Kelsey booked a flight to visit Justin to watch few of his baseball games and meet his family. At the end of that trip, February 20, 2022, they made things official!

They continued doing distance through the rest of their senior years of college finding time to visit every couple of months. Although it wasn't easy, they found time for each other because they knew it would be worth it in the end.

After graduation, Kelsey ended up getting a job at Duke University and made the move to North Carolina. They continued to do distance for another year while Justin worked in Charlotte.

In July of 2023, distance ended as Justin moved to Raleigh for work! 2 years of distance later... to now only being about 10 minutes from each other!

June 29, 2024, Justin proposed to Kelsey at the Chestoa View Blue Ridge Parkway near where he grew up!
