The first month of autumn, September, is still a warm month in Kansas City with an average high of 80F and an average low of 60F.

Both our ceremony and the reception will be indoors, however, the cocktail hour will be outside on the patio.

We recommend that you arrive 15 to 30 before the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00PM.

After the ceremony, there is nearby shopping, restaurants, and bars in the in Town Centre Plaza and surrounding area. Two bars we suggest are The Brew Top Pub and Patio and Verdigris. Guest can arrive at the cocktail hour at 5:30 where we will be serving finger food and beverages. If you arrive early at the winery tastings, glasses, bottles of wine are available for purchase in the tasting room.

Yes we will be providing a trolly to guest to/from the reception from the Hampton Inn and Suite Overland Park South. The trolly will make two trips to the reception starting at 5:15PM, returning after 30 minutes. Please be courteous everyone is not going to fit on one trolley ride. The last trolley returning to the hotel will leave the reception at 11:00PM.

Both our ceremony and reception have free parking available to our guests.

Yes, there is an open bar. However, due to the winery's liquor license hard alcohol will not be served.

Comfy shoes for the dancing portion are always fun! The dance floor is a nice hand paved brick floor.

The dress code for our wedding is formal to black tie. Have fun with it bright colors are welcome!

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
