If you were to ask me - Kelsey - about the origins of our relationship, I would likely tell you the honest answer. We met online, like many other people in our generation. However, that’s a little boring, right? So let’s try Matt’s version(s)…

Matts favorite version, which he still tells to new people we meet, is that he was selling pictures of his feet online and I was his #1 subscriber! (At least he got the online part correct, but YUCK, am I right?!).

Matt would tell the extended version of us meeting, which is he was done with online dating, downloading and deleting the dating apps every couple of months to see who was out there. After many repeats of this process, Matt decided he was done with trying to find a relationship and was just on the dating apps to meet friends. He downloaded the apps one more time, and lo and behold there was a message about to expire from the most stunning, intelligent, and wildly funny young woman. So, the first time we met he was VERY adamant that he was not interested in a relationship with anyone, including me (because just friends, remember?). But we continued to meet up, got to know each other and found that we genuinely enjoyed each other’s company.

With time, my charm and (what sealed the deal) my witty humor, Matt slowly began to fall in love with the last girl he met online! From that moment on, we have continuously grown in our relationship and have committed to making each other a priority every day. We are both so excited to celebrate our love with those that we love and kick off our next journey as husband and wife!
