Do I have to have a passport?
Yes, a valid passport book is required to enter Mexico and you must have at least six months of validity remaining on your passport when you visit.
When should we arrive for the wedding?
The bride and groom will be staying at RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas from Monday, April 21st - Tuesday, April 29th. Please feel free to come at a time that works best for you. Just to let you know, the resort does require a minimum of 3-night stay.
How many days do we need to be there?
RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas requires a minimum 3-night stay for you to book.
What date should I RSVP by?
Please RSVP by December 14th, 2024.
Should I sign up for RIU Class?
You don't have to. However, by joining RIU's loyalty program you are able to receive exclusive benefits and discounts when booking your stay for that week/weekend.

Are kids welcome?
This resort is a family-friendly resort, but we have decided to keep our wedding and reception to an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family.
Can I bring a date?
We have thoughtfully put together our guest list and have considered your significant others. Your invitation will address you & your guest if we have allocated space for them!
What to bring?
Bring your Mexico essentials, but don't forget your neon, all-white and all-pink outfits if you wish to attend RIU Parties at the resort.
What kind of food/restaurants does the resort have?
You can enjoy the best Mexican, Japanese and Indian cuisine, incredible buffets with show cooking stations, or savor the best steak at the steakhouse located by the pool. In addition, at the hotel's seven bars and the new bakery and ice cream shop, Capuchino you can get great snacks and beverages.
What is the dress code?
Beach/Resort casual. Please, no swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, or tank tops.
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony will be a beach front ceremony. If weather does not work in our favor there will be a plan B option. All attendees will be notified via text on location change if needed.

Where will wedding updates be posted?
There will be a wedding group chat created prior to ceremony. This group chat will be 1 person per family. It will also be used for those who'd like to join us in the pool area, so you know where we have reserved seats at.
Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Yes, but please keep in consideration that the bride and groom would like you to wait until they have time to share photos with select family members that weren't able to attend.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
No photos will be allowed during the wedding. We will also have a link to upload all images you'd like to share with the Bride and Groom.
Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?
Friday, April 25th, 2025 (All Day): Brent's Last Swing Before the Ring.
Brent has invited all the guys for a day of golfing. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you'd like to join Brent, please let us know by RSVPing under your name, as we will need a head count.
