Kelsey and Luke met at a “social gathering” in 2014, but over the years they’ve came to realize that they have probably made friends with each other at local restaurants as kids growing up such as Bonanza at the ice cream bar and Smart Skate. The night they met in 2014 after talking briefly you could say Luke “fell for Kelsey”. Minutes before leaving Luke accidentally tripped down a flight of stairs after Kelsey caught him just before leaving, as Luke was gliding down the stairs his eyes were locked on Kelsey at the top of the stairs with the look of amusement and worry on her face. A few weeks later Kelsey friended Luke on Facebook asking him if he remembered her, and of course how could he not?! After that they spent weeks together inseparable.

Over the last 9 years you can imagine they’ve had lots of adventures together. Luke’s MMA start up was the beginning of those adventures, traveling all over Minnesota became something they loved to do, over the years they’ve been able to share these memories with friends and family.
In 2017 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Delilah Isabelle Thompson to the world. Luke got exactly what he wished for, he wanted Delilah to look like Kelsey but have his personality. ( and he GOT it! ) She’s very excited to be a big part of the big day, but we think she’s more concerned about who’s going to throw more petals, her or Natalie.
As Kelsey’s birthday approached in January of 2021 Luke had a special gift this year. On a cold January night Kelsey and Luke went to they’re annual birthday dinner for Kelsey, as they walked into the empty dinner room a Tutu Bene and seated them selfs in a completely empty dinner room, it was moments later Luke was on one knee asking Kelsey to marry him. They celebrated and were congratulated as the waiter brought them champagne and dessert.

And the rest is history! We are so excited for you to share this long awaited day with us! It will be full of lots of laughs, dancing, LOVE and of course a few tears because what isn’t a good wedding without some. Can’t wait to see you all!
