It all started when Steven was teaching and coaching basketball at the same high school that Kelsey was coaching cheerleading at. They first met at a Friday football game in 2021 when Steven was working the gate onto the field, and Kelsey kept going in and out of the gate to talk to the "cute gate guy".

For the next couple months, the two saw each other all around campus until they finally decided to go on their first date together. After that date, they were inseparable and moved into their first home together in 2022. Only four days after moving in, they got the newest addition to their family, their puppy May, and have since gotten a second puppy, Cash!

The couple enjoy traveling to new places, grilling on Sundays, and spoiling their dogs. The couple got engaged on June 2nd, 2023 on a private beach in Kauai on a summer vacation, and are so excited to continue their beautiful life together!
