The wedding celebration Saturday is beach cocktail attire. We suggest light and flowy dresses for women and button downs for men (add a jacket if you're so inclined). Wear shoes you can walk a couple of blocks in to join at a bar or two downtown after the reception.

The wedding party will stay at the Hoyt House Bed and Breakfast. We recommend that you stay at a neighboring Inn/Bed and Breakfast because all of the events and bars will be in walking distance. Amelia Island William's House and The Schoolhouse Inn are excellent choices. The Hampton Inn & Suites is in walking distance or The Courtyard/Springhill Suites Amelia Island is a quick drive down the road and walking distance to the beach. To book with the Hampton Inn & Suites, call (905)557-2120. The Omni and Ritz are options further south on Amelia Island, about a 15 minute drive to all of the weekend's activities. We recommend booking quickly if you plan to attend, as there are a handful of events happening on Amelia Island this weekend.

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is a 35 minute drive to Amelia Island. While a rental car is recommended to get to the island, once you get to downtown Fernandina Beach, if you are staying at a Bed and Breakfast or The Hampton Inn, all of the weekend's activities will be in walking distance.

We have an intimate ceremony planned with only immediate family in attendance. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone after at Cafe Karibo!
