We met at the Bulldog, a Baton Rouge bar famous for its beer selection, at trivia night. Coincidentally, we knew the same person - Ryan Al-Marhoun - Jere's best friend from high school. Ryan was the reason Kelsey started hanging out with that trivia team in the first place. We started talking and eventually went on a date. About a month later, we made our relationship official. To this day, we still play trivia with our friends on and off.

After 4.5 years of dating (including 2 years of living together), Jere proposed Memorial Day weekend while we were in New Orleans, LA.
