While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event, with exception of our kids and our nieces and nephews who are in the wedding. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, we cannot accomade additional guests due to limited capacity. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?
River House is a large home and outdoor space located on a 500 acre family farm. The ceremony will be under a covered area overlooking the river and countryside. Cocktail hour will be on the deck outside of the river house located right next to the ceremony area. The reception will have some indoor seating and some covered seating with dancing under the stars. Most of the evening will be spent outside, so please prepare for the weather accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
Help us get the party started as scheduled! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm, so please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to park and be seated.
What should I wear?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Keep in mind we will be outside.
Is there parking?
There is plenty of parking, but it is not a formal parking lot. The entrance to the venue is a long gravel road and there will be parking in the grass. We encourage you to take an Uber or Lyft if you won't be able to drive home. You are also welcome to leave your car overnight at the venue and pick it up before 10am the next day.
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided, but the hotels are located ~18 minutes from the venue. There are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts available. If you are driving, please be mindful that our venue is down a country road and it's not well lit at night.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
All guests are invited to join us at our welcome party the night before from 7:00-10:00pm! All events will be located at the wedding venue.
