We have a room block reserved at this hotel for Friday through Sunday. Book using the link here, or by calling the hotel and mentioning our wedding. Rooms will be held until September 3rd. This hotel is directly across the street from the Riverview. Bradley International Airport is less than half an hour away.

Simsbury Inn

We also have a room block reserved at this hotel for Thursday through Sunday. Book using the link here. Studios, one bedroom suites, and two bedroom suites are available. Rooms will be held until September 3rd. This hotel is about 5 minutes away from our venue, and half an hour from Bradley International Airport.

Bradley International Airport is a medium sized airport that is located less than half an hour from our venue. Rental cars are available on site.

Visit the New England Air Museum to see a variety of planes, helicopters, and lots of Pratt &amp; Whitney engines.

Visit Frank Pepe’s for our favorite New Haven style brick oven pizza. There is a location in West Hartford if you want to stay close to the venue, but the original New Haven location is really the best (bonus if you stop at Libby’s bakery next door for a cannoli on your way out).

This hike right near our venue gives you a great view of at least three states, and is beautiful with fall foliage. There are multiple paths to the top, including driving, so you can pick your own route!

Heublein Tower Hike

Visit Main St in Old Wethersfield for shops, restaurants, and a cute New England downtown with a lot of history.

Stop in Mystic (about an hour from our venue) for a cute New England downtown by the coast. There are lots of restaurants with good seafood, some sweets at Drawbridge Ice Cream, and even an aquarium and a historic seaport museum.

West Hartford has lots of bars, restaurants, and shops and is right near our venue.

This state park has beautiful beach views, walking trails that can be used year round, and a nature center to see local plant and wildlife species. If you want seafood afterwards, stop at Lenny and Joe’s across the street for lots of great options.

Hammonasset Beach State Park

This spot right next to our venue and Talcott Mountain State Park includes food, drinks, a disc golf course, and other outdoor games.

Things to Do

Friday, October 3rd5pmTalcott Mountain Collective For those who arrive early, we will be hosting a welcome party at a local brewery on Friday night! A few appetizers will be provided, with additional food and drinks available to purchase.

Breakfast To Go

Handed out at end of wedding reception We will be providing breakfast boxes on the way out of the reception Saturday so that all can enjoy baked goods from our favorite local bakery as they begin their trip home.
