We started our love story the modern way - by swiping right! Our first date was March of 2022 and the connection was immediate. Michael found Kelsey's ability to be forward and honest very refreshing while Kelsey fell for Michael's dad jokes.

Dating looked a little different for us as we were both living the single parent life. Our kids are our life and leave little time to ourselves. We spent many "dates" at the park or trampoline park or wherever would keep the kids occupied while we continued to learn about each other and strengthen our connection. When your alone time is so scarce it can be difficult to decide what to do with that precious time. We knew we found love when we wanted nothing more than to spend it together - we were inseparable.

While blending families is no walk in the park, we found our connection growing even stronger as we watched each other parent and slowly began parenting as a team. We couldn't imagine a more perfect other half to be a part of our kids' lives.

Together we have been through more than what many face in a life time. We have challenged each other and tested our relationship but continue to choose one another. We are so excited to celebrate our love and begin our forever with all of our friends and family by our side!
