In order to really understand their story, we have to start from the VERY beginning.

Anthony was born in Lacey, WA and spent a good amount of his childhood biking, playing baseball, football, riding dirt bikes and everything inbetween. It was because of these activities that he met his best friend, Tanner (a very pivotal person in this story). At age 11, Anthony moved up to Mill Creek, WA but stayed in constant contact with Tanner through the years.

60 miles west, Kelsey was growing up in town where everyone knew each other and nothing was kept a secret. Aberdeen was her home until she was 10 years old. It was during fifth grade, her parents made the decision to move to Olympia. A year later, she met Tanner.

Kelsey and Tanner hung out with the same crowd but it wasn't until their Senior year of high school that they became close and stayed closed while they bounced from junior colleges and both landing at Central Washington University. It was during their time at Central where Tanner would started to put the bug in Kelsey's ear that she needed to meet his friend, Flatt.

Anthony was also making frequent visits back down to Olympia, Summit Lake specifically, to visit Tanner and cause chaos on the jet skis. And once they became of age, they would stop at a small yellow cabin on the lake for beers and conversation. At the time, Anthony just thought it was a random family on the lake Tanner knew. Little did he know, that was his future father-in-law, Steve.

While Anthony was unknowingly hanging out with Steve, Kelsey was all over the country. She had been living in Madison, WI and San Francisco, CA for a handful of years but in 2017 she made the move up to Portland, OR and was ready to settled down and call Portland home.

Fast forward to 2019, Tanner has gotten engaged to his long time girlfriend, Sadie, and he called up Kelsey and Anthony, individually, to ask them both to be his best men in the wedding. At this point, I am sure you all know where this is going.

Kelsey and Anthony had three months to plan a bachelor party and on August 27, 2019, the two met for the first time.

Kelsey was the last one to show up for the weekend and when she walked through the door, Anthony realized how long of a weekend it was going to be. Plot twist: Kelsey was in a year long relationship but after a weekend of being flip cup partners, they left realizing there was an undeniable connection.

While Kelsey headed south to Portland and Anthony headed north to Seattle, they continued to talk every day leading up to Tanner and Sadie's wedding. From texting 24/7 to late night FaceTime calls, they quickly realized that this could be the real deal and then the wedding weekend solidified it. They spent the whole weekend together. Kelsey even brought him to the small yellow cabin on the lake to officially meet her parents and brother the day after the wedding.

Kelsey and Anthony were inseparable after that first weekend in October of 2019. They spent close to a year being weekend warriors and spent countless hours driving up and down I-5 and in July of 2020, Kelsey did the one thing she said she would never do. She moved to Seattle.

Two years in Seattle flew by. They explored Fremont while Kelsey was living in her 400 sq ft apartment. They traveled together and really felt like they could date each other, doing things like cooking dinner together on a Tuesday night or impromptu dates to watch sunsets . Kelsey and Anthony's leases were up in June and they decided to make the jump, they were going to move in together. They started their apartment search and found a townhome off 24th street in Ballard. They soaked up every minute of living there. They frequented Ballard Ave and Golden Gardens and had their favorite weekend spots. Ballard, and that townhome will always hold a special place in their hearts but as many of you know, they are adventure seekers. As the end of their lease approached they decided to make the biggest move yet - they were moving to Denver, CO. Within 4 months, Anthony bought a house, sight unseen, and they packed up their lives in one U-Haul trailer to start their next chapter.

Denver will always be a place they look back on and smile - they created a home there. They found their new favorite weekend spots and frequented RiNo and Larimer Square. They started new jobs, adopted Willow, got engaged and started planning their wedding.

And soon they will be able to add CELEBRATING their wedding in Breckenridge, CO with you all to that list. Words cannot describe the excitement they have to be with you in a place that unknowingly became a place where so many important memories happened for them, for an entire weekend.
